great for detection. searched all reviews this series whisler (xtr series) is best under [...] dols without a doubt.
ka band detection great and that is where chp is on so for price its great. like that you can turn off k and x bands... there worthless any way. compass is a little cheesy and a little off but that is an extra.one thing i like is that it goes dark when it spots ka band..nice stealth at nite...already paid off on late nite trip to beach.i only have two concerns...it does not have real voice which would be nice when screen goes into stealth mode dark..you just have to trust that it is a cop and pay attention....the other concern is it is hard to read during the day....for [...] bucks though it blows away the competition...should have spent a little more for real voice in the xtr695...
